Intervals Pro: HIIT Timer App Reviews

Good but not enough.

I downloaded to use with my apple watch, but it seems that when you have your phone locked, it simply stop working. (Syncing with the watch). Then you miss all the alerts. So basically you need to have your phone unlocked in your pocket all the time to have your watch updating. It also needs to give you the option to not auto start the next circle. So you can use for trainings where you have to move from one equipment to another. Also it needs some help to understand how to make the workout more customizable.

Excellent

Tailored, smart, brilliant for hiit workouts.

Needs "tap" signals for apple watch

Used for the first time today with my apple watch (outdoor biking) I couldnt hear the voice prompts given the wind. Would be great if the apple watch could tap you with the prompts.

Seamless integration

Hi all, I just bought this app and love it. It seamlessly integrates between the iPhone, iPad, and Applewatch. A haptic pulse on the Applewatch would be nice, but I am sure it will come. I recommend going Pro though as you get iCloud backup support. Highly recommended fitness app. Happy Customer :)

No watch vibration or sound signal - useless app

Without phone close to you this WATCH app is useless coz all alerts are on ur phone.

Bugs

Please check bugs with HR indicator sometimes it doesnt work. And add sound alert on Apple Watch.

Almost useless on the watch

No vibration or alert sound on the Apple Watch is a real deal breaker for me!

Doesnt vibrate

Is there a way to make the notifications vibrate in the watch? Cant seem to figure that one out. The app on the phone seems to work really well as it is sitting in my gym bag

Total malfunction

I didnt even really get to use the app before it malfunctioned and totally started wigging out on my phone. Something definitely needs to be fixed. I tried to do a practice run with the watch and my phone and 1- it doesnt let you pause or start the timer on the watch, which in my opinion totally defeats the purpose of using it on your watch and 2- the watch doesnt vibrate or let you know the interval is done. Please fix!!

Disappointing failure on the Apple Watch.

I installed this app to have audible cues when running with my Apple Watch. I setup my intervals on my phone and then went outside to start my run. To my dismay the app wouldnt start. After an hour of struggling I finally gave up.

Fails me way too much

Unfortunately the app starts working, then nothing! No sound, nothing!! Great app when it does work.

Works great!

Easy to use, easy to modify, and verbal cues work great even while listening to favorite music. You have an option to pay if you want multiple settings- I just change before or during each workout since it is so quick and simple with the free version

Useful interval timer

This interval timer is pretty good compared to some competitor apps. It has "work" and "recovery" intervals which you can set to any time for both (thats a feature missing from some competitor apps). One improvement Id like to see would be the option to have a countdown timer on one or the other "work" or "recovery" timers. Right now if countdown is turned on it will play on both the "work" and "recovery" timers.

Looks pretty.. Thats it

No control on watch, no alert on watch, and cant customize interval or have more then two. Totally bummed!

Must have iPhone in range

Great app, except the note buried down in the description that says it works with your iPhone which MUST be in range. The whole point of Apple Watch for me is to NOT have to carry my iPhone on runs.

Needs phone

App uses phone to cue intervals. Wish it was able to be used with the watch only.

Great app

The interval app has helped me ease back into running again. Easy to use and easy to change intervals. Im gradually lengthening running time and reducing recovery time.

ok app

would be nice if you could name the individual workout times instead of it just naming it for you

Great App

I really like the programming flexibility of this app. It makes the app very useful. I also like the fact that it works with whatever music app I choose to use. But I would like a volume control for the voice prompts from the app to adjust the volume level with respect to the music as the prompts are a bit too loud when the music is at my preferred volume.

Love the UI

That circular progress meter that animates into the logo on the About page? Awesome. Thats the kind attention to detail you just dont see in a lot of apps. Nice.
